Vibe ("Vibe", "we", "us") is a video bookmarking and discovery app. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use Vibe for iOS.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information. Your name, email address, and profile photo when you sign up.
• Saved content. Video URLs and metadata (title, thumbnail, platform) that you bookmark through the app or share extension.
• Boards and activity. Boards you create, content you save, and interactions with other users' boards.
• Device information. Device type, operating system version, and anonymous usage analytics to improve the app.
• Log data. IP address, crash reports, and feature usage data collected automatically.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide and personalize the Vibe experience — surfacing saved videos, board recommendations, and AI-generated insights.
• Enable sharing of boards and vibes with friends.
• Improve app performance and fix bugs using analytics and crash data.
• Send optional notifications about board activity and new features.
• Comply with legal obligations.

3. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following limited cases:

• Service providers. Cloud hosting, analytics, and authentication providers who process data on our behalf under confidentiality agreements.
• Other Vibe users. Content you add to shared boards is visible to board members. Your display name and profile photo are visible to users you connect with.
• Legal compliance. We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of users.
• Business transfers. In the event of a merger or acquisition, your information may be transferred to the new entity.

4. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

5. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), secure cloud infrastructure, and access controls to protect your data. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take this seriously.

6. Children

Vibe is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@plink.bio. You can also delete your account directly from the app.

8. Third-Party Platforms

Vibe saves links to videos hosted on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. We do not control those platforms and their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes via the app or email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
