Just a disclaimer, the somebymi retinol serum has fragrance, so if ur skin is sensitive to fragrances it may not be for u. However, I did use it and i hv kinda sensitive skin, and its really mild, so it didn't irritate my skin at all.

I don’t think the Some By Mi retinol is a dupe for the Estée Lauder serum at all. The Some By Mi retinol serum is silicone-based, so if you don’t like silicone in your skincare like me, you’re not gonna like this serum. I feel like the silicones stay on my skin without getting absorbed and obstruct the absorption of following skincare. If you use it as the final step of your skincare it is a really good product. (But I prefer using my retinol as the first step in my routine to get the maximum effect out of retinol.) The Estée Lauder serum is not silicone-based. The two products are also completely different in terms of ingredients. Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair serum’s main ingredient is fermentation of lactobacillus, which is meant to keep your skin flora (the microorganism community living on your skin) healthy and well functioning. It’s in the fermented skincare family and it will not cause any uncomfortable side effects like retinol does. The Some By Mi serum contains retinol, retinaldehyde, niacinamide, panthanol, and ceramides. They’re all good ingredients but they work in completely different machanism than fermented skincare products. The concepts of the two products are completely different.

Review Auteur, Calciem, Bilogique Recherche, and Regelica. Expensive brands use high concentration of high quality ingredient which cheaper brands don't, and that's why they are more effective.
