I came to this video because I got my first Agency delivery today and wanted to learn how to use it. I really do want to say though that I was expecting a lot more "consulting" like at a dermatologist from Agency, which I definitely did not get. When I went on to ask a question about the treatment, I learned you get 1 credit per shipment to send a message to your provider and then after that it's $10 for more questions! I am already not much of a fan since I didn't get a consultation like I thought I'd have, have questions about the regimen, and will potentially have to pay to ask my provider questions.

I would add a few tips, maybe have been mentioned in another video.
1. Tretinoin, like Vit C, is a skin sensitizer. That means even though you just use it at night and wash it off in the morning it will increase the risk of sun damage. So you have to wear sunscreen while exposed to sun.
2. I always end up with bright redness in the morning after wearing Tretinoin, so I use a cleanser and toner with ingredients like aloe, or oatmeal, chamomile, lavender or rosewater in the morning that decrease inflammation. A lot of product lines geared towards sensitive skin have these. My favorites currently are bliss and sukin products. This removes or decreases redness.
3. Unfiltered tamanu oil is magical for skin burns and irritation. I buy mine from a company called liberty naturals. It is shocking how well this works. It tints the skin like the color of a self tanner while on, but it works for my pale skin. It does not a permananent tint. It is a plant oil that promotes collagen growth. But it is excellent for irritation as well. Can be used after peels or vit c as well.

This is great. Just started tretinoin. Wow. Lots of peeling. I’m 73. Need reduction in fine lines and laxity if possible. Information was wonderful.

I use .25 under the eyes and .5 on the rest of the face. If .5 is too irritating, I also use .25 on the face.

I noticed your eyes were more hooded in the before picture. Didn’t you have surgery for that and didn’t that help your crows feet?

I started watching you during Covid lock-in. I have followed most all of your advice for skin care and been pleased but I have just had the worst experience with tretinoin. I started w/over the counter - then Curology - and then switched to Agency.(I am 70) I followed all of the precautions advised. My 'new & last formula' was very irritating and I had to back off using only once a week. This past application (4 weeks ago) was a TRUE burn!! The formula traveled all around my eyes, up into my scalp, and around my ears. Needless to say, I have been miserable. I sent pics to Agency and they recommended to use vaseline until my skin cleared. I have hardly left the house since this all began. Please dont think that I am sending out 'blame darts' as this is on me but please tell your ladies that tretinoin does travel and if you feel that the formula sent was too strong - discontinue and reach out to the provider at Agency. How I wish i had re-evaluated the formula sent to me. At this point, I'm not sure I'll be brave enough to start again.

You can also try OTC adapalene to start preparing your skin for Tretinoin.

Have been using tret every single day for two years now, but don't see results yet. I'm in my late 20s and on the second strongest tretinoin cream (0.05%) available in my region. My family doctor prescribed it to me. I apply it on wet skin every night to increase absorption, but never had irritation (also not in the beginning). I use a moisturizing serum with peptides, hyaluronic acid and vit C before applying tret, so I don't have to use a moisturizer after :)

I've heard that 0.5 tretinoin mg/g has the same anti aging effect as 1.0 and that you don't need to go higher in concentration. It was said there's a study about it. Has anyone a link or more information about it? Hugs,
