Macs shades are NOT the same as the vintage versions, just be aware of this

A detail: digital cameras in the 90s tended to get a cool colored hue on the images they capture, so warm tinted makeup was used to make the images less cold looking.

Just know that even though some of the Mac products still exist in name,they aren't the same color as the ones in the 90s. Spice lip liner being one of them.

Mac changed the hue of a lot colors, many with more red than brown now, in case anyone gets frustrated that they don’t match well. Makeup artist and historian Erin Parsons made a few videos as she still had the OG ones to compare.
