Tldr: the mic is actually good. Linus is just stroking his ego and doesnt want to admit a $40 mic can sound decent and good enough quality with good clarity in comparison to an XLR set up that'll cost you well over $200. If you just want a mic to chat to friends in discord its a good mic. If you want to spend an unnecessary amount on a mic for a podcast then go with the xlr setup. This video really just came off as nitpicky considering the sound of the fifine mic isnt that bad

I actually bought this mic in the white version. My friend recommended it to me, but the bundle with the arm only comes with the black version. Despite not being able to change the RGB, I do like the mic. Works fine for what I need.
There are third party softwares you can download to adjust levels. Overall its a good looking mic and does the job well if you arent looking for high end quality

Don’t mind me looking for a mic and doesn’t care about any drama.

Actually sounds pretty good, usually cheap mics sound so bad…but your studio is probably sound proofed, how is it in a regular room with the air conditioner on?

Yo, @LinusTech, y'all should really check out the ampligame a8. Also made by fifine, it's my personal mic right now, but I switched from the a6 due to some clipping that started after about 6 months. Now I've been using the a8 for about a year and a half and have absolutely zero complaints. It's basically everything good about the a6 with all the bad stuff being made good. RGB customization, better gain control, software integration, and some other things I'm not technically inclined enough to talk about. Either way I would say it's easily to this day the number one mic I recommend to everyone.
