I am shocked that you were able to use those products on the sneaker. The Gucci sales assistant strongly advised not to use any products/chemicals on the shoe, yet alone water.

DEF no not the way you should clean leather! bleach wipes?!? esp on Gucci shoes, no way! What you want to get is 2 products from Saphir. Renomat will clean the leather or use saddle soap, then to finish w a cream/neutral based from such as, Saphir Renovateur. I HOPE no one took advice and actually did this to any leather product. this is crazy.
