As someone with eczema, I just want to thank her and Vogue for not putting a filter over to hide her skin! It's encouraging to see someone as beautiful also struggling with a similar thing. And also with the blonde lashes! I felt that, too - gotta have my mascara.

Also a perioral derm sufferer here. Diet is a trigger for me: my skin doesn’t me eating mints or chewing gum. And keeping my skincare very simple helps.

switching to colgate sensitive tooth paste has really helped me with perioral dermatitis.
using cica/barrier recovery creams helped to heal the area.
what causes to flare up around mouth area: using actives like vitamin c, any kind of acids, salicylic acid cleansers ( if overused) and had to find moisturizers suitable for me that don’t flare up redness
Asked dentists about perioral dermatitis… they never even heard of it! “ oh that is very strange” their response….

Eczema is such a pain, it took me many years to accept my "face" and like, be calm whenever my eczema is flaring up.
Also, that concealer is so amazing?? I feel like it's so hard to find a concealer that properly cover the redness without making it looks cakey
