When I took interior design classes in college, one of our assignments was to go to different stores and find exact same products and compare prices. Wow was I shocked at that time. But it makes sense. In a free market, anyone can charge whatever they want as long as they have buyers that will pay the price. We buyers just have to know that and do our due diligence. 💕

The only new furniture items in my home are my mattresses. I love antiques , high end furniture resale shops and estate sales.

So true. My sister in law always talking about how great something she has is and she bought at William Sonoma and how much it cost. I say, I have the same product bought at, kohls, Amazon or wayfare for much less.. for people who buy at high end stores,it’s all about the prestige.
