So collagen cannot be absorbed through the skin as its molecule is much too big. The only way to get external collagen in to your body is to ingest it, either through food, drink or supplements. Which means any beauty products that have added collagen may leave your skin moisturised and supple, but it’s not the collagen that’s doing it.
