Since first I have heard Trifonov playing at Rubinstein competition I was: This guy is in a league of his own. He sit over the piano like a daemon, totally dominating this music instrument. So then I imagined: this is how it was to listen Liszt playing almost 200 years ago

My Mom played this frequently. Makes me miss her even more. She played it for her graduation recital on stage in Milwaukee, WI in 1937 ( I have the program).
