Taiwanese Brown Sugar (different brand): https://amzn.to/3KWP2Zl Brown Sugar Alternative: https://amzn.to/44o5RU2 ✨ R E C I P E ✨ 1. Add 1/4 cup Taiwanese dark brown sugar. If you can’t find it, see above for alternatives. I don’t recommend using normal brown sugar because it won’t have the same rich brown sugar flavor. 2. Add 1/3 cup water, mix, and then add 1.5 tbsp tapioca starch and mix again. 3. Microwave it for 1 minute or you can do it over a stove, the most important thing is to get the gooey texture shown in video. 4. Let it cool for a minute or two and then add 1/2 cup of tapioca starch and mix it in with a spoon. Keep adding tapioca starch gradually and knead it in with your hand once it’s not too hot. I like to add 1/4 cup at a time and then decrease the amount you’re adding once a dough starts to form. The dough should be not too sticky but still stretchy (shown in video). 5. Roll them into little balls, and it’s ok if they’re not uniform — just make sure they’re not too big or else they won’t go up the boba straw. Coat them in tapioca starch so the balls don’t stick together. 6. In a large pot of boiling water, add your boba and stir. Once they’re all floating, boil them for 25 minutes. 7. Strain and rinse in warm water to get rid of the excess starch. Some people like to rinse in ice water but I find it makes the boba too hard. 8. Add it to some brown sugar syrup, ice and milk, or a milk tea of your choice! 😋

For those that doesn’t have the most ingredients 1: you can use cornstarch, it makes it less chewier, 2: normal brown sugar won’t have the same flavor ik when she explained it in the vid but it will be a different color, 3: you can use fruit puree, how: cut your fav fruit put them in a blender and water.

This is so incredibly horrible. Me and my friends were craving boba so we decided to use this recipe as the comments were promising. When making the dough, it was so sticky and we had to jump in the swimming pool to get it all off but it was so toxic they had to drain the pool so the planet wouldnt end. Then we tried cooking our small remains and it somehow burnt down the entire house. Luckly my friend had insurence. One of my friends died in this horrible recipe. I hope your happy. You ruined our lives
