The internal part of the French press fits perfectly into a stanley 2cup kit. That way there's no glass to worry about.

I have that fan and I love it! It doesn’t just cool us off, we set it near our meal and it keeps blowing bugs away so we can eat in peace.

Make sure your white sage is ethically sourced. Some areas are being over harvested, which is why it's harder to find.

Stanley does an awesome French press that you can boil the water in and it has a plastic sleeve with filter and spout. Best camping French press and it's practically indestructible! I highly recommend it!

Just subscribed today!! Thanks for the information. I’m 71 years old and can’t quite carry as much weight as I once did. I’ll be following your videos and sharing them with other “old-timers” like myself. Thanks again! Maggie from Nevada

My folding shovels remain at home. I carry a trowel. Not just any trowel. Over the years I’ve broken 5 or 6 trowels that were “just right”. Then, I got ahold of a “horri hkrri”. That’s Japanese for Dig! Dig!. Those trowels weigh much less than a folding shovel, and are as beastly strong. Not quite what a guy would use to fend off a bear - but getting close to it.

"Great tips! For the older folks, that pillow is not only perfect for backpacking but also works as an excellent adjustable lumbar support when needed."
