maybe around 10 yrs ago or so, i bought a cashmere zip-up hoodie a while back, it might've actually been J. Crew, or similar-type brand which cost me maybe a little over a$100 at the time because it was on sale. It was an amazing zip-up hoodie in fit and comfort. Eventually, it began to pill excessively after a few years of ownership, so i think it actually held up better than expected because i didn't even baby it. Was it the most expensive hoodie i ever bought? Yup, but it held up well, and didn't cost nearly as much as the other luxury brands. But now, i don't even bother with cashmere because merino wool is just a lot easier to maintain and is a lot cheaper
