As a person in college right now, you do not need to be spending this much money! All of these are really expensive items, and you can survive and still do amazing in college with just regular school items from Walmart. To everyone watching this, please do not listen to her! Do not buy anything before you begin your classes. Let the first day pass, and you will notice that you won't even need a pen and paper for some of your classes sometimes. Let a week pass before going on a shopping haul. I use none of these items (it's good that she uses them I guess), and I never needed any of these. If you are going to take notes on your iPad, then don't buy stationary and vice versa! You can also get amazing headphones from other brands for under 100 dollars, you do not need the AirPods. You also do not need glasses to look cute when you are studying. I have had so many friends buy some of these and spend a lot of money only to never use them. There was nothing informative in this video!

One thing that really helped me is getting a notebook for time management! It's such a lifesaver in uni, especially when there are so many cute ones to choose from. My personal favorite is Burga

if you are getting new tech! i highly recommend looking for refurbished / second hand options! the saving are unbeatable and you can find somthing perfect for you. for me i wnated a phone with tons of storage but i don’t want to pay for it. getting somthing refurbuished allowed me to get what i was looking for at an incredibly affordable price and it was lightly used a few scratches but nothing noticeable one i wiped it and put a case on it. not to mention that these tech companies are extremely explorative !! free congo <3 🇨🇩❤️

This girl is tryna give life advice like it’s facts, meanwhile she’s spilling drinks on her laptop, water damage on another laptop, and constantly losing her keys and headphones 🥴

Here's my essentials list -
- Highlighters... The cheap ones work fine.
- black pens for signing official paperwork
-pencils - good for mistakes on homework and required for many tests
-Tags for your textbook
-notebooks, obviously
-folders... That said some professors give you so much stuff that you need something more substantial 😂
-planner to write assignments
Then you wait until your classes.

- a lot of times you don't even touch the textbook so it's a waste of money
- math classes only allow specific calculators and you don't want to waste your money on a $100+ calculator that you can't even use 🤷‍♀️
-some may require a binder
-ect...

If you can afford an iPad - I would do it... But don't spend money you don't have, you can absolutely succeed easily without it. I just like having all my notes in one place and it makes homework easier because I don't have to print anything. Get the air, don't waste your money on a pro, trust me.

In that case...

- a case

-apple pencil

-matte screen protector

-pencil, pens, Highlighters, tags

- ONE notebook and folder. You won't need more. But sometimes you get stuff in class or have assignments in class that's due at the end of class. Scan in any handouts into your iPad later

*I do NOT recommend goodnotes anymore. I loved goodnotes 5. Goodnotes 6 has a ton of bugs, my files keep corrupting, and there's a ton of overheating and battery life issues. The devs care more about adding features instead of fixing bugs to make the app actually usable

I am currently going to be a Junior in college for the Fall of 2024, and all I can say is that most of the time it is going to be 'cheaper is better', honestly. If you are someone like me who cannot afford the expensive items that may be more attractive to the social eye, you have to come to terms that it will always set you back. The money you could've saved if you bought the cheaper version of the product would be able to go somewhere else. Most of the time you're just paying for the brand name and not the actual quality of the product!
