I have a pair of tall black Ralph Lauren boots that I wore all over Europe when traveling there to visit my daughter over a period of 10 years! They were beautiful and comfortable and it was hard to finally give up on them. But I purchased a newer, but similar version of them last year…. Truly the most versatile pair of footwear I own with classic good looks. Black boots are the bomb!

I’m not sure I understand why all your dressy wide leg trousers drag on the ground! Especially your light colored ones. Don’t they get dirty and ruined? I’ve never seen anyone wear pants as long as you do. Granted you are tall but your pants are always hanging on the ground and it just feels like you need to make a trip to the Tailor

Great suggestions. But actually, you look great in that white skirt, black sweater and the boots both ways. It's edgier with the skirt shorter. Your legs are long enough, as is your torso to wear it both ways, IMO.
