I’ve been doing this. Y’all gave us 2016 makeup tutorials that we rushed through, and learned that the powder melts like butter 😊😊😊 I love that you are still spitting game Christen Dominique ❤ beautiful as ever.

I always used to apply setting spray when I was completely done with my makeup (I do eyes last). So my powder sat on my skin for 10-15 minutes, side note- I don't bake, only dust powder all over my face. I have combo skin and would end up with some dry end oily patches by the end of the day. However a few weeks ago I started setting my powder immediately after I applied it. Totally changed how my makeup lasted throughout the day! No dry patches, no oily patches, it looks absolutely amazing. I've seen a lot of makeup tutorials but I don't remember anyone explicitly saying when to use the setting spray. Maybe I'm an idiot too lol but figured I'd leave a comment in case someone else was experiencing same issue as me 😅

As a man with oily skin but doesn’t like wearing a lot of product I do this on the daily.

After skincare I go in with my loose setting powder and pack that shit on, then spray it down with otd setting spray & my pores VANISH. Skin stays satin after running around a hot restaurant all night long.

when you think about it , it makes sense to set a setting powder with a setting spray .

This is what I do for my oily skin but just after normally powdering my face. This is magic because you could wear a lot of makeup and I always think setting spray just makes skin look like skin. So this goes for any powder product

So you do your makeup the exact same way with skincare, primer, foundation, powder...but instead of brushing off the excess powder you just spray it with a setting mist to make it dissolve?
