If you ever do one for fashion students definitely include multipens. They're really handy for switching colors while patttern drafting. We mainly rely on good pencils, fine liners, and erasers. Giant pencil cases and backpacks specifically for sewing tools. Lil scissors for loose threads, glue for collaging, french curves, and a book with sturdy blank or bulleted paper. Also the more aesthetically pleasing the better. Pretty similar to visual arts.

For musicians, I’d also recommend a thicker lead pencil for quickly filling in notes. Thinner leads are also important for those minuscule annotations!

Should we cover more college majors? Let us know in the comments and give this video a like to let us know!

So happy that Education was included on here. It's true, we can't get enough of stationary

As a remote student in Computer Science, I am more of the "my desktop is life" group rather than laptop. My laptop is a close second. Now, the weird thing is, I find I actually learn programming BETTER, if I write it out. I know, I know, I'm sure there are any number of people shaking their head at me, but I've been a touch typist since I was 14, and I am an older student. If I try to type notes, I retain nothing, because the typing subroutine no longer accesses long term storage. If anyone is struggling with understanding more difficult coding concepts - try writing it out longhand. It has helped me, I graduate in April.

An important think to remember as a teacher: you need a way to distinguish between your students papers ie 1st hour & 6th hour.
I personally, handed out mead composition notebooks in different colors {Red for 1st hour, green for second hour etcetera.}
Carry that color coding over to your notes. Red ink for 1st hour, green for second hour, etcetera.
[Note: don't be afraid to have students check their own papers, it is how they will learn...]

Hey JetPens, currently stationery shopping for med school and while i LOVE the Kokuyo Campus Binder Notebooks, I was wondering if you would consider stocking the dot grid refills for them. I managed to find them on other sites but I greatly prefer shopping through you! Dot grids are perfect for science notes in my opinion because they provide enough structure to write down bulletpoints of information, but not so many lines that they get in the way of drawing chemical diagrams or anatomy diagrams!

Computer Science options is close to my major, which is Information Systems (which people know as Information Technology). Yes it is a digital age, BUT for me, I rely on ballpoint pens or gel pens that write smoothly, small paper tablets to write To-Do lists and lots of Post-Its and Sharpie Markers. As I'm working on equipment, we are constantly labeling the equipment so we know which department or person it came from. Our methods of organization, LOL.

As a music educator, this list was pretty great. I'd also add a Pilot Frixion Multi Pen or set for score study! I color code ALL my scores, and I know I'm not the only one.
Also, I use the kuru toga for fingerings in my organ music, definitely a great choice!

Bless you for including music! We’re always forgotten!! Can confirm we need A LOT of folders and also plastic pockets that don’t reflect lights so we can use them in performances
